Great Grammie Morton's Dougnuts

I believe that this was my great grammie (my father's father's mother). Uncle Jon does a great job with these as well.

Ingredients
- 1 cup sugar
- 3 tablespoons melted Crisco
- 3 eggs, beaten
- 1 cup milk
- 2 1/2 cups flour
- 4 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1 1/2 teaspoon salt

Preparation
Step 1
Beat eggs well. Add milk and shortening. Mix. Mix dry ingredients together and add to wet. Mix just enough to mix through. Separate. Roll out to 1/4" on a floured board. Fry in medium hot fat. Turn over once. Roll in cinnamon/sugar or powdered sugar.
