Ingredients

  • 1 Stick Butter or Margarine
  • 1 Cup Granulated Sugar
  • 4 Eggs
  • 1 tsp. Vanilla
  • 1 (1 lb.) Can Hershey's Chocolate Syrup
  • 1 Cup plus 1 Tablespoon Flour
  • 1/2 Cup Nuts

Step 1

Beat together the shortening and sugar. Add the eggs two at a time; beat well after each addition; add the vanilla. Add the chocolate syrup, flour and nuts. Spread in a jelly roll pan 10" x 15". Bake in 350° oven for 30 minutes. (If using a 9" x 13" pan, brownies must bake a little longer.) Frost with chocolate icing. These freeze well.
