This loaf is cut right through. Leave bottom of slices attached if you prefer. Good with any kind of meal.

Ingredients

  • 1 loaf of french bread, sliced at least 1 inch
  • 1/2 cup butter/margarine, softened
  • 1/2 tsp garlic salt
  • 1 tsp parsley flakes

Preparation

Step 1

Bread may be sliced straight across or on the diagonal. Cut however you prefer.

Mix butter, garlic salt and parsley together well. Spread on both sides of slices. Reshape on long piece of foil. Wrap. Heat on medium grill 10 to 15 minutes. Turn often.
