Ingredients
- 1 cup flour
- 1/2 cup cornstarch
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 3/4 cup margarine

Step 1
1. Cream butter well. Mix all dry ingredients in a bowl and add to butter, beating at medium speed, until smooth. Refrigerate one hour. Shape into 1 inch balls. Place about 1 1/2 inches apart on an ungreased cookie sheet. Flatten with a floured fork. Bake in 300F oven for 20 mins. or until edges are lightly browned. Makes 3 dz. cookies.

Tips
VARIATION: Use melting moments dough but press 1 inch balls into a mixture of sugar and chopped pecans. Bake nut side up. Drizzle with a light frosting made of butter, powdered sugar and lemon juice.

4 stars - Didn't realize it till this year but this cookie is surprisingly similar to the crescent cookies and I believe much easier to make. Dip them in a chopped pecan/sugar mixture and you have a crescent cookie. At least according to my taste buds. These melt in your mouth! - ME 12/24/2011
