- 1/4 cup butter, softened
- 1/3 cup plain or chocolate malted milk powder
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- pinch salt
- 1-3 tablespoons light cream

Preparation
Step 1
In medium bowl, beat butter with malted milk powder until creamy. Add powdered sugar, vanilla, salt, and 1 tablespoon cream and beat well. Add more powdered sugar or cream as needed for desired spreading consistency.
If you use chocolate malted milk powder, add 3 tablespoons cocoa powder to make Chocolate Malted Milk Frosting, or add 1 square unsweetened chocolate, melted. You may need more powdered sugar if you use melted chocolate - about 1/3 cup. Frosts 36 cookies.
