Ingredients

  • Frosting:
  • 1 small yellow jiffy cake mix
  • 1 8 oz cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 large vanilla instant pudding
  • 1 large can crushed pineapple
  • 1 large carton cool whip
  • 2/3 cups toasted almonds
  • 3 Tbls brown sugar
  • 1-1/2 Tsp Butter

Preparation

Step 1

mix cake as directed - pat into 9x13 pan. Let Cool.

Blend cream cheese with milk. Mix instant pudding as directed except 1/2 cup less milk. Add vanilla. Add to cream cheese mixture - spread on cool cake.

Let set 5 minutes. Add drained pineapple. Spread Cool Whip over all.

Frosting:
Mix all ingredients and melt, stire in nuts. Mix till cool.
