Ingredients

  • 1 Tbls Butter or margarine
  • 1 square unsweetened chocolate, melted
  • 1-1/3 cup sifted confectioners sugar (sifted)
  • 1/4 cup + 2 Tbls powdered milk
  • 1/4 cup Karo Syrup
  • 1/2 Tbls vanilla

Preparation

Step 1

Melt butter and chocolate in double broiler. Stir in syrup and vanilla. Sift and measure confectioners sugar and combine with powdered milk.

Remove syrup mixture from heat and gradually stir in confectioners sugar and powdered milk. As it thickens turn onto wax paper and knead in remaining confectioners sugar and powdered milk. Knead until thoroughly blended. Form into rolls, and cut int 1 inch pieces or roll into balls.

Makes 3/4 pounds
