Ingredients

  • Dipping Sauce:
  • 1 c. shoyu (soy sauce)
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 3/4 c. water
  • 2 tsp. ginger, minced
  • 4 Tbsp. garlic, minced
  • .................................
  • 5 lbs. chicken thighs, cut to bite size pieces
  • pepper and garlic salt to your preference and taste
  • 1 c. flour
  • 1/2 c. cornstarch
  • vegetable oil (About 1" oil in frying pan)

Preparation

Step 1

Dipping Sauce:
Mix sauce ingredients & bring to a boil. Remove from heat.

Sprinkle garlic salt and pepper on chicken. Dredge in flour and cornstarch mixture. Deep fry chicken in hot oil, until a nice golden brown. Then immediately dip chicken into dipping sauce.
