Ingredients

  • 1 1 cup water
  • 2 3 cups bread flour
  • 3 1 tsp garlic powder (optional)
  • 4 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 5 1 1/2 tablespoons butter
  • 6 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 7 2 tablespoons nonfat dry milk powder
  • 8 2 teaspoons yeast
  • 9 . 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 10 1 garlic clove, crushed
  • 11 2 tablespoons parmesan cheese, more, if needed

Preparation

Step 1

1. Place first 8 ingredients in bread pan and select dough cycle.

2. When cycle is finished, turn dough onto a floured countertop or cutting board (use flour sparingly).

3. Gently roll and stretch dough into a 24 inch rope.

4. Grease two 8 inch pie pans or one 13x9 pan.

5. With a sharp knife, divide dough into 24 pieces.

6. Shape into balls; place into prepared pans.

7. Cover and let rise for 30-45 minutes until doubled.

8. Bake at 375º for 7-12 minutes.

9. While the rolls bake: In small bowl, combine butter and garlic, and pour over rolls.

10. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese, and bake for the last three minutes, until golden brown.

11. Remove from oven, cut apart, and serve warm.
