1 cup butter
2/3 cup sugar
1 egg
2/3 cup sugar
1 tsp almond extract
2 1/4 cup flour
1/2 tsp baking powder
food coloring optional

Step 1

Cream butter, sugar, egg and extract. Mix in sifted dry ingredients. Pack into press with desired shape. Decorate before baking. Bake at 350 until lightly browned on edges
