Sugar Cookies

Ingredients

• 1/2 cup shortening
• 1/2 cup butter
• 1 cup powder sugar
• 1 tsp cream of tartar
• 1 tsp baking soda
• 2 cups flour
• 1/2 tsp almond extract
• 1/2 tsp vanilla

Preparation

Step 1

mix shortening,butter,powder sugar and cream of tartar till creamed. Mix in flour and soda. Chill overnight. Roll to 1/8" with flour. Cut into shapes. Place on baking sheet and bake at 350 till lightly brown on edges.
