Ingredients
- serving size 1 2/3 cups
- 2 cans, 15 oz, great northern beans, rinced and drained
- 2 cans, 14 oz each, fat free, lower sodium chicken broth
- 2 packages, 10 oz, frozen corn
- 1 c chopped onion
- 2 cans, 5.75 oz or 4.5 oz, chopped green chilies, drained
- 1/4 c white wine, optional
- 1 T + 1/4 c chopped fresh cilantro
- 3 cloves garlic minced
- 2 tsp ground cumin
- 1/4 tsp ground cloves
- 4 c cooked chicken shredded or cut in pieces, about 1 lb
- 1 c shredded Monterey Jack or Cheddar Cheese, 4 oz

Step 1
In large pot, combine beans, broth, corn, onion, chilies, wine, 1 T cilantro, garlic, cumin, and cloves. Simmer over medium heat about 15 minutes. Add chicken and cook until just heated through, do not cook longer
Ladle chili into individual bowls and top with shredded cheese and remaining chopped cilantro.
