Ingredients
- 1 loaf french bread
- 2 tbsps prepared mustard
- 1 cup cheddar cheese - grated
- 1 cup jack cheese - grated
- 1/4 cup butter or margarine, softened
- 1/2 tsp worcestershire sauce
- 1 egg
- 4 to 6 slices bacon - cooked crisp and crumbled
- 2 green onions, chopped

Preparation
Step 1
Halve loaf lengthwise and spread cut sides with mustard. Mix cheese, butter, worcestershire, egg, bacon and onions in a bowl, until well combined. Spread mixture on bread. Place on a baking sheet and broil till lightly browned and puffed, (usually 5 minutes). Cut into strips and serve immediately. Great for lunch or dinner with a steaming bowl of soup.
