  • 1 package 1 package (10 ozs) frozen vegetables
  • 1/3 cup 1/3 cup margarine
  • 1/3 cup 1/3 cup flour
  • 1/3 cup 1/3 cup chopped onion
  • 1/2 teaspoon 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 3/4 cups 1 3/4 cups chicken broth
  • 2/3 cup 2/3 cup milk
  • 2 1/2 - 3 cups 2 1/2 - 3 cups cut-up cooked chicken or turkey
  • Pilsbury 2 Crust pie crust

Preparation

Step 1

1. Heat oven to 425 F.
2. Rinse frozen vegetables in cold water to separate; drain.
3. Melt margarine in 2-quart saucepan over medium heat. Stir in flour, onion, salt, pepper. Cook, stirring constantly, until mixture is bubbly; remove from heat. Stir in broth and milk. Heat to boiling, stirring constantly. Boil and stir 1 minute. Stir in chicken and vegetables; remove from heat.
4. Press first pie pastry into round 2 quart casserole dish. Pour chicken mixture into dish.
5. Place 2nd pie pastry over chicken mixture; curl excess under to fit casserole dish.
6. Bake about 35 minutes or until golden brown.
