Ingredients
- Shells:
- 1/2 cup butter (softened)
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp. Almond extract
- 1 3/4 cup flour
- Filling:
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/3 cup dark corn syrup
- 1 cup chopped pecans
- 36 pecan halves

Preparation
Step 1
Shells:
Preheat oven at 400
Mix shell ingredients until crumbly. Press 1 tbsp. into ungreased mini muffin pan. Bake 7 - 10 minutes.
Filling:
Preheat oven at 350
In saucepan combine powdered sugar, butter, dakr corn syrup. Cook over meduim heat until boils. Remove from heat. Add chopped pecans. Fill tarts. Top with pecan half.
Bake for 5 minutes.
Remove and cool completely.
