A Happy Home Recipe

By

Terry used this recipe to make a wall hanging as a gift for mom in 1973 and it still hangs in Mom's house on Badger Avenue, it is now hanging in the basement family room. Terry still remembers finding the recipe in an ad in a magazine, and deciding to make it by hand instead of buying it. Each letter was cut out in orange felt and then glued on a large piece of brown felt (definitely the earth tone colors of the early ~1970's!), along with some flowers for decoration. Somewhere in the production process, a bunch of letters were lost and had to be recut. It was a really fun project to work on and what a great sense of accomplishment when it was completed.
