Ingredients
- Barfoot Contessa Pie Crust Recipe
- Large skillet of apples 3 to 4 different type of apples (peeled, cored and sliced)(About 10 Apples)
- 1 stick butter
- 1 large can crushed pineapple
- 1/4 cup pie filling enhancer (START WITH 2 TBSP OF PIE ENHANCER WHICH IS 1/8 OF A CUP) (king arthur), or 1/4 cup flour
- 2 lemons juice
- 1/2 Cup to 1 Cup sugar (1/2 cup to start, 1/4 cup to taste)
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp nutmeg
- 1/4 tsp cloves ground
- 1 egg beated for crust

Step 1
1. Melt stick of butter in large nonstick skillet (remove from heat when butter is melted.
2. Peel and core apples and slice into melted butter.
3. Cook apples and salt on medium high heat about 10 minutes (you can decide if you want firmer apples or softer apples and adjust your time).
4. When apples are almost done add sugar1/2 cup to start, 1/4 cup to taste add lemon juice and can of crushed pineapple, juice and all cook until warm.
5. Add spices and pie enhancer or flour.
6. Cool to room temperature (this is a very important step don't forget to do this as the cooling apples absorb the juice).
7. Heat oven to 375 degrees
8. use 4 inch round or tart cutter 2 rounds per tart(top/bottom)
9. Brush bottom with egg wash
10. 2 heaping cookie scoop of cooled filling.
11. Top with pie crust, seal well
12. Egg wash, cut 1 vent hole and sprinkle with sugar
13. Bake 40 min at 375 until golden brown.
14 Cool and enjoy
