  • 1 c Creamy Peanut Butter
  • 1/2 c Butter, softened
  • 1/2 c Sugar
  • 1/2 c packed Brown Sugar
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 t Vanilla Extract
  • 1 1/2 c Flour
  • 1/2 t Baking Soda
  • 1/2 c Peanut Halves
  • 2 T green and red M and M Mini's
  • 4 t miniature Chocolate Chips
  • Cake Decorating Holly Leaves and Berry Candies
  • 60-66 pieces of shoestring Red Licorice cut to 2" pieces

Preparation

Step 1

In a large mixing bowl, cream peanut butter, butter, sugar and brown sugar. Beat in egg and vanilla. Combine the flour and baking soda; gradually add to the creamed mixture. Refrigerate fr an hour or till easy to handle.

Roll into 1" balls, place 2" apart on ungreased baking sheets. Pinch end of each ball to taper. Insert 2 peanut halves in center of each ball for ears, add one M and M for nose and two chocolate chips for eyes. Arrange holly leaf in front of one ear.

Bake at 350 for 8-10 minutes or till set. Gently insert licorice as tail after comes out of the oven, move to wire rack to cool completely.
