Orange Slice Cake

Ingredients

• 1/4 c. oil
• 3-1/2 c. all-purpose flour
• 1 c. butter
• 1/2 c. buttermilk
• 2 c. sugar
• 9-oz. pkg. orange slice candy, chopped
• 4 eggs, beaten
• 8-oz. pkg. chopped dates
• 1 t. baking soda
• 2 c. sweetened flaked coconut
• 2 c. chopped nuts

Preparation

Step 1

In bowl, combine all ingredients; mix well. Pour into 3 greased, 8"x4" loaf pans. Bake at 275 degrees for 1-1/2 hours. Makes 3 loaves.
