  • 1 pint heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup confectioners' sugar
  • 1 Tbl vanilla extract

Step 1

Place a metal bowl and whisk in the freezer for about 10 minutes.

Pour the cream into the chilled bowl and start whipping in a circular motion. Lift the whisk so the end of it makes a circle from the bottom of the bowl to half way up the bowl. The more air that you incorporate into the heavy cream the faster you will have whipped cream.

When the cream gets thick (after about 2 minutes), add the confectioner's sugar and the vanilla.

Continue whipping until medium peaks form in the bowl.
