Ingredients
- 2 cups uncooked elbow macaroni, cooked
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 (1oz) pkg taco seasoning
- 1 (15oz) can tomato sauce
- 1 (2.8oz) can french fried onions
- 1/4 cup milk
- 2 1/2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded lettuce
- 1 cup diced tomatoes

Preparation
Step 1
1. Preheat oven to 375F. Brown meat and drain off fat. Add taco seasoning and tomato sauce; simmer uncovered for 5 mins.
2. Stir milk and 2 cup cheese into hot macaroni. In a greased 3qt baking dish, layer 1/2 macaroni, 1/2 meat mixture, 1/2 can onion, remaining macaroni and remaining meat mixture.
3. Bake uncovered 20-25 mins. To serve, top with lettuce and tomato.
