Ingredients
- 1 c homemade mayonnaise
- 1 T fresh chives
- 2 T chopped cornichons or other small dill pickles
- 1 T capers, drained
- 1 large hard-cooked egg, peeled and chopped
- 1-1/2 lemon juice
- 1/2 t cornichon juice from jar
- 1/4 t dried tarragon, basil or parsley
- 1/8 t ground red pepper
- salt and pepper

Step 1
Mix everything but salt and pepper in small bowl. Then add salt and pepper to taste. Cover and chill 30 mins before serving. Refrigerate up to 3 days. Makes 1-1/2 c.
