Ingredients
- 1/2 pound of lean ground beef
- 1/2 pound lean ground pork (can be replaced with veal, or 93% fat free ground turkey).
- l large onion, finely chopped
- l large potato, cooked and mashed
- spices to taste: parsley, sage, flavored salt, pepper and one-half tsp. of ground cloves.

Preparation
Step 1
Cook meat slowly, adding about a cup of water for preparation, you are not trying to brown the meat, but gently cook it through. Simmer onions until soft and add with the potato to the meat when redness has gone. Add your spices. If too much fat, pour some off but leave enough for flavor. Pour mixture into prepared crust, top with crust and bake at 400 degrees until crust is brown. About 30 to 40 min. To freeze- Bake only25 min. and freeze- Unthaw, and bake until crust is brown. For stuffing, use the same recipe for making stuffing.
