Ingredients

  • 2/3 cup white sugar
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 package (12 oz) fresh cranberries, rinsed and drained
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup orange juice

Preparation

Step 1

1. In medium saucepan, stir white and brown sugar into water. Bring to boil on medium-high heat. Add cranberries, cinnamon and orange peel. Return to boil. Reduce heat to medium-low. Simmer 10-15 minutes or until cranberries burst and sauce begins to thicken.

2. Remove from heat. Stir in vanilla and orange juice. Cool to room temperature. Cover.

3. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
