Ingredients
- 2 cup chopped pecans
- 1 pkg yellow cake mix with pudding
- 4 eggs
- 1/2 cup cold water
- 1/2 cup dark rum
- 1/2 cup oil
- 1/4 lb butter
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup bacardi dark rum

Preparation
Step 1
1. Preheat oven to 325F. Grease and flour 10" tube pan or 12 cup bundt pan. Sprinkle pecans over bottom of the pan.
2. Mix cake mix, eggs, water, rum and oil. Pour into pan over nuts. Bake 1 hour, cool completely.
3. Meanwhile, prepare rum glaze by melting butter in saucepan, stir in water and sugar. Boil for 1 minute, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and stir in rum.
4. Glaze cake by poking holes and pouring glaze.
