Ingredients

  • Pastry:
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 8 oz. cream cheese, softened
  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 1 tsp dill weed
  • Filling:
  • 5 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup half-and-half cream
  • 1 1/4 cups grated swiss cheese
  • 4 1/4 oz. can of crabmeat, drained, flaked
  • 1 tsp minced onion flakes
  • 1 tsp parsley flakes
  • 1/4 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/8 tsp pepper
  • paprika (optional)

Preparation

Step 1

Pastry:

Cream butter and cream cheese togther in medium bowl. Add flour and dill weed. Mix well. Form into a ball. Chill for 1 hour.

Filling:

Beat eggs in large bowl until frothy. Add next 8 ingredients. Mix well. Set aside. Roll out pastry on lightly flured surface. Cut into circles to fit into ungreased muffin cups. Spoon filling into shells, about 3/4 full.

Sprinkle with paprika. Bake in 400 deg oven for about 15 mins until golden and set.
