Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked garbanzo beans (canned)
  • 1 can (12 oz) artichoke hearts
  • 6 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 Tbsp. Tahini
  • 4 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp. paprika
  • 1/2 tsp. cumin
  • 1/2 tsp. sea salt
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 1/2 c. olive oil

Step 1

Combine all the ingredients, except for the oil, in a food processor. Puree coarsely. Then add the olive oil in a steady drizzle; process to a creamy consistency.

Makes 3 1/2 c. hummus. Serve with pita bread or pita chips.
