OMG! These are soo good, especially if you let the chocolate kiss sit in the cookie for about 10 minutes, it gets all melty and choco-fabulous.

Ingredients

  • 1/3 c Butter, softened
  • 3 oz Cream Cheese, softened
  • 3/4 c Sugar
  • 1 Egg Yolk
  • 2 t Orange Juice
  • 1 t Almond Extract
  • 1 1/4 c Flour
  • 2 t Baking Powder
  • 1/4 t Salt
  • 10 oz Sweetened Coconut flakes
  • 42 Hershey's Kisses

Step 1

Beat butter, cream cheese and sugar in large bowl until well blended. Add egg yolk, orange juice and almond extract. Stir together the flour, baking powder and salt; gradually add butter mixture, beating until well blended. Stir in 3 cups coconut. If needed, refrigerate about 30 minutes until firm enough to handle. Heat oven to 350. Shape dough into 1" balls, roll into remaining coconut. Place on ungreased cookie sheet, bake 5-10 minutes till lightly browned. Place 1 Hershey's kiss on top of each cookie, pressing down slightly. Carefully remove from cookie sheet and cool.
