Ingredients

  • Large bowl that allows approximately 1" space around a smaller bowl.
  • Duct tape
  • Assorted shells (can also use fruit slices, vegetables, herbs, flowers depending on what you are putting in the bowl)
  • Paper doily
  • Platter
  • Floater candles

Preparation

Step 1

Fill large bowl with 1" water. Freeze to form base.

Insert small bowl on ice base in large bowl. Secure small bowl in center of large bowl with duct tape.

Insert seashells (or other items) between small and large bowls. Fill with water to within 1" of rim. Freeze. Remove duct tape. Fil small bowl with lukewrm waer to thaw just enough to remove. Set large bowl in sink filled with lukewarm water just long enough to thaw. Remove ice form. Set on doily centered on deep platter. Set small bowl filled with cocktail sauce and shrimp in ice bowl.

Place Ice Bowl in deep platter. Once ice has melted, remove doily and any other wilted garnishes. Set 2 or 3 floater candles in remaing wate. Light and enjoy the end-of-a-nice-evening ambiance it creates.
