Ingredients
- 2 1/4 Cup Sifted Flour
- 1/2 tsp. Baking Soda
- 1/2 tsp. Baking Powder
- 1/2 tsp. Salt
- 1/2 Cup Shortening
- 1 Cup White Sugar
- 1/2 Cup Brown Sugar
- 1/2 Cup Cocoa
- 1 tsp. Vanilla
- 1 Cup Water
- 1 Cup Chopped Sauerkraut
- 3 Eggs

Step 1
Sift together flour, soda, cocoa, baking powder and salt. Cream shortening and sugar. Beat in eggs one at a time. Add dry ingredients with water and mix well. Add sauerkraut. Put in loaf pan. Bake at 45-50 minutes in a 375 degree oven.
