Ingredients
- Directions:
- 6 medium potatoes, grated
- 1/4 c. melted butter
- 3 eggs, separated
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/4 t. salt
- 1/4 t. cloves
- 1/4 t. cinnamon
- 1/2 c. molasses or corn syrup
- 1/2 c. chopped pecans
- marshmallows, cut in half (optional)
- 1 . Blend together all ingredients except egg whites and marshmallows.
- 2 . Beat egg whites until stiff peaks form and fold into sweet potatoe mixture.
- 3 . Pour into greased 1 1/2-2 qt. casserole dish.
- 4 . Bake at 350 F. for 30 minutes.
- 5 . Arrange marshmallow halves on top and continue to bake 5-10 minutes longer.
