Ingredients

  • 6 cups Cucumber ; sliced
  • 1 cup Onion ; sliced
  • 1 cup Green pepper ; sliced
  • 2 cups Sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups Vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon Celery seed

Preparation

Step 1

Put very thinly sliced cucumbers, onions and peppers in a bowl and sprinkle with 1tablespoon of salt. Cover and refrigerate for two hours.

Mix together last three ingredients. Pack vegetables in jars. Pour vinegar mixture over them and allow to stand in refrigerator for 2 days before eating.

Will keep 2-3 months in the refrigerator.
