  • 2 sticks unsalted butter, plus some for greasing
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • 2/3 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 tsp Mexican cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp chili powder or cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 tsp kosher salt
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Line a 9 x 13 inch baking dish with parchment and lightly grease paper.
Melt butter in saucepan over medium-low heat, do not boil.
Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
Add sugar, eggs, and vanilla and stir until combined.
Add dry ingredients.
Spread batter in prepared fan.
Bake 20-25 nubytes
