- 2 bars (1cup) margarine
- 2-3 oz pkg cream cheese(creamed)
- 2 cups sifted all purpose flour
- to make dough spicy
- add 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 2 tbsp sugar
- ***cheesecake tassie
- 1 recipe golden tassie(spicy)
- 1 recipe cream cheese filling
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup cherry preserves
- ***cream cheese filling
- 4-3 oz cream cheese
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 tsp vanilla
- 2 unbeaten eggs

Step 1
let margarine soften. add cream cheese. work with wooden spoon until smooth and creamy. add flour in fourths, blending after each addition.
work with fingers into smooth dough
shape into 1 1/4" balls. put in small 1 3/4" muffin pans and press dough against bottom and side.
***make dough recipe. line muffin pans. spoon cream cheese filling into dough lines cups, filling almost full. bake 350 oven 18-21 min. cool. remove to wire rack/ spread a little sour cream on filling and cherry preserves. makes 4 doz
***soften creamcheese, cream well. add sugar-beating after each addition. add vanilla and unbeaten eggs and beat with beater until very creamy
