- 1 cup butter, softened 2-1/2 c. flour
- ½ c. sugar 1 teaspoon vanilla
- ½ c. brown sugar 1 t. cream of tartar
- 1 egg ½ teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract ½ c. chopped nuts

Step 1
Make into 1” balls – dip tops in sugar and sprinkle several drops of water on each cookie and bake at 350 degrees 2 inches apart on lightly greased cookie sheet for 15 minutes. Makes 48.
