barbecue Hamburger Sauce

Ingredients

• 1 pk onion soup mix
• 1/4 cup vinegar
• 1 1/2 cups water
• 3-4 tablespoons sugar
• 1/2 tsp pepper
• 1 tsp salt
• 1 tablespoon hot mustard
• 1 medium bottle ketchup

Preparation

Step 1

Cook all ingredients EXCEPT ketchup for 10 minutes.

Add ketchup and simmer.

While sauce is simmering, make hamburgers and add to sauce. If not enough sauce, add 1 medium bottle ketchup, maybe some water. Simmer the whole thing 1-11/2 hours.

For 10 lbs, start with 3x the ingredients.
