Ingredients
- 1 lb. sausage in chunks (I use italian)
- 1 qt. water
- 2 coves garlic
- 2 - 8 oz cans tomato sauce
- 2 t. salt & pepper
- 2 t. sugar
- 2 large cans tomatoes (29 oz. size)
- 4 C. carrots sliced
- 2 onions sliced (lengthwise) - I don't think I use this much
- Italian seasoning to taste
- 1 grfeen pepper
- 2 C. water
- 2 t. bullion
- 1 can green beans, drained
- 1 can barbanzo or kidney beans, drained
- 1 can mushrooms, drained (2 C. mushrooms)
- 1/2 - 1 C. elbow macaroni, uncooked
- 1 t. basil
- 1 t. oregano
- 1/3 C. parsley

Step 1
Heat water to boiling; add chunks of sausage & boil for 5 minutes. Add ingredietns, up to & excluding green beans.
Reduce heat & simer all day, adding water if needed.
One hour before serving, add beans, mushrooms, macaroni, basil, oregano and parsley.
Serve, sprinkled with parmesan cheese.
