Ingredients

  • 6 lbs ham bone-in, rind on
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp mustard powder
  • 3 tbsp condensed frozen orange juice
  • whole cloves
  • pineapple chunks
  • maraschino cherries, halved

Preparation

Step 1

With sharp knife, score rind in triangle pattern about 1/4 inch deep. Place ham in roaster. Cover. Bake in 350 oven for 2 hours. Remove from oven and cut rind off ham. Increase oven heat to 450.

Push a whole clove into each triangle.Secure pineapply and cherry halves with toothpicks. Place her and there over ham. Mix sugar and mustard powder together. Add concentrated orange juice and mix to a paste. Brush over surface of ham.

Bake uncovered about 15 minutes to glaze. In about half time, spoon drippings over surface again.
Internal temperature should read 140 when done (ready to serve ham).
Other hams should reach an internal temperature of 160.
