Grandma Mary's Cherry Yum Yum Recipe

By

Grandma Mary used to make this on special occasions. Yummmm. Robert didn't like cherries, so sometimes, she would make Chocolate Yum-Yum instead and would use chocolate pudding on top instead of cherries.

Preparation

Step 1

Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees.

Mix graham cracker crumbs and melted butter together. Press 1/2 of it into a 9x13 inch pan on the bottom to form a crust. Bake ten minutes in the oven. Let cool.

Blend cream cheese and sugar together. In a separate bowl, combine milk and Dream Whip.

Combine cream cheese mixture with Dream Whip mixture. Pour 1/2 of mix on top of crust and spread evenly.

Open pie filling and pour evenly on top of filling mixture. Spread the rest of the cream cheese mixture on top. Sprinkle the top with the rest of the cracker crumbs.

Refrigerate 24 hours.

P.S. If one wants to skip the graham cracker crust - this recipe fills 2 9-inch pre-made graham cracker pie crusts.
