Ingredients

  • 3 1/2 -4 cups water
  • 1 cup grits
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 cup oleo
  • 1/2 roll smokelle cheese
  • 1/2 roll bacon or garlic cheese
  • 2 eggs
  • milk
  • 1 cup grated sharp cheese

Preparation

Step 1

Bring water to a boil; add grits and salt and cook until thick. Add worcestershire, butter, smokelle and bacon cheese to the hot grits. Stir to slightly melt cheeses. Break the eggs into a measuring cup and lightly beat. Fill the cup with enough milk to make 1 cup; add to grits mixture. Bake 1 hour at 325. About 5 minutes before removing from oven, sprinkle sharp cheese over top. Return to oven until cheese melts.
