Ingredients

  • TOPPING:
  • 2 lb sliced peaches
  • 1/3 c sugar
  • 1/8 tsp nutmeg
  • 1 T butter
  • 1 T lemon juice
  • 1 1/2 c bisquick
  • 1 T sugar
  • 1 T vegetable oil
  • 1 eggs
  • 1/3 c milk

Preparation

Step 1

Prepare fruit mixture and cook, stirring over low heat until mixture boils. Keep hot.

Combine Bisquick with sugar. Combine remainder. Make a well in center of dry ingredients and add wet mixture. Stir just until dampened.

Pour hot fruit into a 2 quart baking dish. Drop topping into 6 portions onto the fruit.

Bake for 15 minutes till topping is firm and golden.

Serve warm with light cream, whipped cream or a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
