Ingredients
- 3/4 cups margarine, melted
- 1 cup white sugar
- 1/4 cup molasses
- 1 egg
- 2 tsp baking soda
- 2 cups flour
- 1/2 tsp cloves
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp ginger
- 1 tsp pepper

Step 1
Melt margarine. Cool. Mix in next 3 ingredients and beat well. Sift flour, soda and spices. Add, mix well and chill. Form tsp full into balls and roll in sugar. Bake on ungreased cookie sheet at 375F for 8 - 10 minutes.
