Ingredients

  • 3 Tablespoons butter
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1 small clove garlic minced
  • 1/4 cup all purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon dillweed
  • 1 (10 1/2 ounce ) can beef broth
  • 1 (2 ounce) can sliced mushrooms
  • 2 cups cooked shrimp
  • 1 cup plain yogurt at room temperature.

Preparation

Step 1

Melt butter in chafing dish blazer pan. Add onion and garlic; saute until onion is tender. Stir in flour, salt and dillweed; remove from heat. Stir in beef broth and mushrooms with liquid gradually. Cook over medium heat stirring constantly until thickened. Add shrimp cook over low heat 5 to 10 minutes. Stire in yogurt; heat to serving temperature. Do not boil. Place blazer pan over water. Serve shrimp mixture over rice or noodles.

Yield 4-6 servings
