Ingredients

11/2 cups butter or margarine
1 cup sugar
1 egg
1 tb milk
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 tsp almond extract
4 cups all purpose flour
1 tsp baking powder

Preparation

Step 1

1) Thoroughly cream together butter and sugar. Add egg, milk, vanilla, and almond extract; beat well. Stir together flour and baking powder; gradually add to creamed mixture, mixing till smooth. Force dough through cookie press onto ungreased cookie sheet. Decorate with coloured sugar. Bake in 400° oven for 8 to 10 minutes. Makes 4 dozen cookies.
