Ingredients

5 cups Oatmeal
2 cups butter
24 oz choc chips
1 Hershey bar (8 oz) grated
4 cups flour
2 cups brown sugar
2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
2 cups sugar
4 eggs
2 tsp bkg powder
2 tsp vanilla
3 cups chopped pecans-(other nuts may be substituted)

Preparation

Step 1

Blend oatmeal to a fine powder. Cream butter, add both sugars. Add eggs & vanilla and mix with flour oatmeal and salt. Add baking powder and soda. Add choc chips, grated hershey bar and nuts. Roll into 1 inch balls and place two inches apart on cookie sheet. Bake for 10 minutes @ 375°
Makes about 100 cookies
