Week night Easy Spaghetti

Brown the meat with the onion and garlic, adding in the mushrooms after or when the meat is almost done
- 1/2 lb ground beef
- 1/2 lb italian sausage (use spicy or mild to your taste) Remove the casings if they have them.
- 1 Onion Chopped fine
- Minced Garlic; one clove or more to your liking
- Italian or Spaghetti Seasoning; 1/4 tsp; or use your own blend of basil, oregano, etc.
- A handful of fresh mushrooms; chopped or quartered
- 26 oz. of Store bought Spaghetti sause (aka; cheater sauce)
- 1/2 cup of water
- 1 regular size can of chicken broth
- 1/2 pound (8 oz) of spaghetti; broke in half
- Grated Romano or Parmesan Cheese; 1/4 cup for the sauce and more for sprinkling on top of each dish just before serving.
Simple Roasted Chicken

Buy a whole chicken as close to 6 lbs as you can find
- 5.5-6 # Whole Chicken
- 1 orange
- 2 onions
- Crushed Garlic
- Coarse Sea Salt or Kosher Salt
- Rosemary
- Italian Seasoning
- 3 or 4 Potatoes (You can also roast whole or halved Carrots the same way & they're awesome)
Super Simple Southwest Chicken and Rice Bake

Easy recipe, great way to use leftover chicken and leftover rice
- 3 chicken breasts, cooked, cubed or shredded; or just use leftover chicken
- 3/4 cup of beer
- 1 cup of water
- 2 cups precooked brown or white rice
- 1 small onion, diced
- 1 cup thick salsa
- 1 package enchilada or taco seasoning (or substitute garlic powder, chili powder, salt and cumin to taste)
- 1 can black beans, drained
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Easy Slow Cooker Mushrooms

Add everything to your slow cooker
- 2 or 3 ; 6 or 8 oz packages of fresh mushrooms (I prefer brown; but sometimes use white mushrooms if they're on sale; or mix them up as you prefer)
- 1/2 stick of real butter
- A splash of Red Wine (I like Cabernet in mine)
- A tablespoon of crushed garlic
- A shake (or two) of Italian Seasoning
- An envelope of Ranch or Good Seasons Salad Dressing Mix
Slow Cooker Swiss Steak

Mushrooms and Cabernet Make this Super Easy Swiss Steak Divine
- 2 lbs top sirloin; trimmed of fat and cut into steaks no more than 1.25” thick
- 8 oz or more fresh mushrooms, thinly sliced
- 4 carrots peeled and cut in 1 inch rounds
- 1 medium onion, sliced
- 1 tbs fresh thyme, minced
- 1 1/2 tsp sweet paprika
- 3/4 cup chicken stock
- 1/4 cup cabernet sauvignon
- 1/4 cup flour
- 4 tbs oil
- salt & pepper to taste
- 2 tbs fresh parsley, chopped
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
