Mix eggs with 1 T water and set aside

  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 cup hulled sesame seeds
  • 2 T all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 t salt
  • 1/4 t ground pepper
  • 1/4 t five-spice powder
  • 12 large shrimp (aprox 1/2 lb), peeled and deveined
  • 3/4 c vegi oil
  • sesame noodles (see recipe)

Preheat oven to 350 degrees Mix everything adding meat and oats last

  • 2 pounds ground bison or camel
  • 1 large onion, chopped into small pieces
  • 2 cloves of garlic, chopped into small pieces

  • 1 can undiluted tomato soup
  • 2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp mustard
  • 1/2 tsp sage or savory or both
  • 1 cup quick-cooking rolled oats (not instant)
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Glaze
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 1 tsp brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp mustard

Cut off kernels from 1 ear corn

  • 3 freshly shucked corn cobs
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 4 dried ancho chiles (3 ounces), stemmed, seeded, and each torn into several pieces

  • 1 medium white onion, cut into 1/4-inch-thick slices
  • 1 1/2 quart vegetable broth (48 fluid ounces)
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons masa harina
  • 1/2 pound fresh mushrooms, chopped
  • 6 ounces green beans or sugar snap peas, trimmed and halved or cut into thirds (2 cups)
  • 1/2 pound fingerling potatoes, cut into 1/2-inch cubes
  • 2 large sprigs fresh epazote (each 12 to 16 inches long) or fresh flat-leaf parsley sprigs
  • 1 3/4 teaspoons salt, or to taste
  • 2 limes, cut into wedges
