This recipe is from Hillary's mother
- 1 1/2 C unsalted all purpose flour
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 Cup solid vegetable shortening
- 1/2 cup white sugar
- 1 Cup firmly packed light brown sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 eggs
- 2 Cups old fashioned rolled oats
- 12 oz pkg chocolate chips ( I use only Ghiradelli)
White chocolate Macaroon cookies

White Chocolate and coconut
- 1 pouch sugar cookies
- 1/2 cup melted butter
- 1 egg
- 1 cup flaked coconut
- 1 2/3 white chips
- 1/2 t coconut extract
- 1 t shortening
Raspberry Thumbprint Cookies

1 Heat oven to 375°F. In large bowl, stir cookie mix, butter, egg and flour until dough forms
- 1 pouch (1 lb 1.5 oz) Betty Crocker™ sugar cookie mix
- 1/2 cup butter or margarine, softened
- 1 egg
- 3 tablespoons Gold Medal™ all-purpose flour
- 1/3 cup seedless raspberry jam
- 1 cup white vanilla baking chips
- Red or green sugar, if desired

Instructions In a stand mixer, cream butter with sugars
- 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter, room temperature
- 1/4 cup plus 2 Tbsp sugar
- 1/4 cup plus 2 Tbsp brown sugar
- 1/2 tsp vanilla
- 1 egg
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 3/4 cup stick pretzels, broken into thirds
- 1/2 cup caramel bits
- 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

- 1 cup shortening
- 1 cup peanut butter
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 1 cup white sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1/4 cup milk
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 3 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup white sugar for decoration

- 1 box Perfectly Pumpkin cake mix

BURIED CHERRY COOKIES

Drain cherries and reserve juice
- 1 (10 oz.) jar maraschino cherries (about 48)
- 1 1/2 c. flour
- 1/2 c. unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/4 tsp. baking soda
- 1/4 tsp. baking powder
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/2 c. butter
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 1 (6 oz.) pkg. semi sweet chocolate pieces
- 1/2 c. sweetened condensed milk
