- 3 3⁄4 to 1/2 salt (reduce to 1/2 tsp)
- 1 1⁄4 1⁄4 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1 1⁄4 1⁄4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1 1⁄4 1⁄4 teaspoon dried parsley flakes
- 1 1⁄4 1⁄4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 1⁄4 1⁄4 teaspoon paprika
- 1 1⁄8 1⁄8 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 1⁄8 1⁄8 teaspoon onion powder
Orange Brownies

Bread and sausage stuffing

- 1 loaf sourdough French bread, about
- 1 lb., cut into 1/2-inch cubes
- 2 Tbs. unsalted butter
- 1 lb. sweet Italian sausage, casings
- removed
- 1 yellow onion, chopped
- 1 leek, white and light green portions,
- chopped
- 1 celery stalk, chopped
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh sage
- 1/2 cup chopped fresh flat-leaf parsley
- 1 cup half-and-half
- 1 1/2 cups reduced-sodium chicken stock
- Coarse salt and freshly ground pepper,
- to taste
Thai Green Papaya Salad

Papaya Salad is refreshingly tart, spicy and sweet
- 1 pound green papaya
- 2 Thai fresh chilies (to taste)
- 1 small clove of garlic
- 2 strings long bean (cut into 1 inch lengths) or regular green beans
- 1 tablespoon chopped roasted peanuts
- 5 cherry tomatoes, cut in half
- 1 tablespoon palm sugar
- 2 tablespoons lime juice
- 1 1/2 tablespoons Thai fish sauce (nam pla)
- 1 teaspoon chopped dried shrimp
Butternut Squash Mac And Cheese

- 1/2 a medium butternut squash, diced
- 1 tablespoons plus olive oil
- kosher salt and pepper
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 1/2 cups milk. divided
- 3 tablespoons flour
- 1/8 tsp nutmeg
- 1 Tbsp chopped fresh rosemary
- 1 cup aged white cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1 teaspoon dried or 1 tablespoon fresh chopped thyme
- 1/2 lb macaroni
- 3/4 c whole wheat bread crumbs

- 3/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 tablespoon lemon zest

- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 tablespoon buttermilk
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1 cup white chocolate chunks or chips
- 1/3 cup granulated sugar (for dipping)
- 1 cup sifted powdered sugar (for dipping)
Kicked Up Bacon-Cheese Mashed Potatoes

- 1 3/4 teaspoons salt
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 1/4 teaspoon freshly-ground black pepper
- 8 slices bacon cooked crisp, and crumbled
- 1/2 pound sharp cheddar grated
- 1/4 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh chives
- Freshly-ground black pepper to taste
Minted lamb

- Marinade:
- 1 small boneless • lamb shoulder (about 3 pounds)
- • Olive oil, for searing
- • 1/2 cup olive oil
- • 2 tablespoons freshly chopped thyme leaves
- • 2 cloves garlic, minced
- • 1/4 cup honey
- • 1/4 cup wine vinegar
- • 2 tablespoons freshly chopped mint leaves
