Mrs. Jerabek’s Kolache Recipe

- Dough
- 2 yeast cakes or 2 packages dry yeast
- 1/4 cup lukewarm water
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 3/4 cup shortening or margarine
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 2 egg yolks
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 1 large can evaporated milk plus hot water to equal 2 cups milk
- 6 cups flour (measure by lightly spooning into cup and leveling off)
- melted butter for brushing
- Topping (Posypka)
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup flour
- 3/4 to 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
- Mix together until it resembles coarse meal. Store in refrigerator.

Morrocan Egg and Meatball Tagine

For the meatballs: Combine the ground chuck, olive oil, onions, paprika and some salt and pepper together
- MEATBALLS:
- Ingredients
- 1 pound ground chuck
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper
- SAUCE:
- 1 tablespoon finely chopped garlic
- 1 large onion, finely chopped
- 1 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro
- 3 teaspoons paprika
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- Salt and pepper
- 2 pounds tomatoes, skins removed, peeled and finely chopped*
- 4 large eggs
- Pita bread, for serving

Columbia Gold Barbecue Sauce Recipe Yield
- 2 cups prepared yellow mustard
- 2/3 cup cider vinegar
- 3 tablespoons tomato paste
- 1/2 teaspoon chipotle Tabasco sauce or you favorite hot sauce
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 2 teaspoons chicken bouillon granules or 1 cube
- 2 teaspoons dried rosemary leaves
- 1 teaspoon celery seed
- 3 teaspoons mustard powder
- 2 teaspoons onion powder
- 2 teaspoons garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon table salt
- 1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
Cooper's BBQ/Mop Sauce

Cooper's Old Time Pit Bar-B-Que is pretty famous in Llano, Texas, so you know this copy cat barbecue sauce is good
- 1 tablespoon paprika
- 2 teaspoons black pepper
- 2 teaspoons chili powder
- 1 teaspoon cumin powder
- 1 tablespoon of butter
- 1 medium onion, finely chopped
- 4 cloves garlic, minced or pressed
- 1 green bell pepper, chopped
- 1 cup Lone Star beer (or any other lager). Drink any that is left over.
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
- 3 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 3 tablespoons steak sauce
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- Hot sauce to taste (start with 2 teaspoons of Tabasco sauce for mild heat)
- 2 cups beef, veal, or chicken stock
